Terms of engagement
These terms apply to professional work requested from Logic Compute Grid, 8 Lrg Teratai 1/1, Taman Teratai, Seremban, Negeri Sembilan 70450, Malaysia. They sit with the engagement letter. If the letter and these terms conflict, the letter wins on scope, fee, and timetable.
1. Who we are
Logic Compute Grid provides independent audit and review of booking applications and related diary, deposit, and folio papers. We are not a hotel operator, clinic, travel agent, or licensed financial adviser. Nothing on this website is an offer to take reservations, treat patients, or settle a guest dispute.
2. The engagement letter
Work starts only when both sides have a signed engagement letter (including a scanned signature or agreed written confirmation by email). The letter names the batch of applications, the question we are asked, the sampling method, the fee, and the expected window. Website copy, including service pages, is descriptive and does not create an engagement.
3. Client responsibilities
- Provide the application papers, or lawful access to them, that the sample requires.
- Name a reservations or clinic contact who can answer file questions within a reasonable time.
- Confirm that you have the right to give us those papers under PDPA 2010 and any confidentiality you owe to guests or patients.
- Tell us if a file is in a guest complaint, a medical board matter, or an employee investigation, so we can treat it accordingly.
4. Our responsibilities
We perform the work described in the letter with professional care. We do not guarantee that every exception in a population will be found; sampling has limits, and those limits are stated. We do not give legal opinions on cancellation clauses. Where a house policy is unclear, we record a question for your own terms.
5. Working papers and use
File working papers and the batch schedule are for the named client’s internal use — typically front office, clinic administration, and internal audit. They are not written for publication, for a regulator filing, or for use as an expert report in court unless the letter says so. You may not present our papers as if we audited your entire diary when we sampled a batch.
6. Confidentiality
We keep application papers and our notes confidential, subject to law, professional compulsion, or your written instruction. We do not use guest or patient files to market the practice.
7. Fees and invoices
Fees are as in the letter: a fixed fee for a defined batch, or a daily rate with a cap. A retainer may be due before the first application is opened. Invoices are payable as stated in the letter. Late payment may pause remaining work. There is no online payment facility on this website; pricing described here is informational.
8. Changes and extra files
Adding properties, widening the period, or replacing the sample after work has begun is a change of scope. We will write the effect on fee and time before doing the extra work.
9. Liability
Our liability for this work is limited to the fee paid for the engagement that gave rise to the claim, except where Malaysian law does not allow that limit (including death or personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud). We are not liable for loss that follows from papers you withheld, from instructions you changed without a written scope change, or from use of our papers beyond the purpose in the letter.
10. Governing law
These terms and the engagement are governed by the laws of Malaysia. The courts of Seremban have non-exclusive jurisdiction.
